a corner uptown in the Carrollton district, across the way a corner commercial camelback shotgun house, and in the foreground a center hall Cottage of one and one-half stories, in the Creole manner, set back from the street allowing for a front lawn and a rural setting.

taken in Defense and witness of New Orleans historic architecture, to document 21st century vernacular survivors of all that is neighborhood , 19th and early 20th century architectural history , and residence of those, and by those who live New Orleans, in Louisiana…..jan., 2008
